Healthcare Workshop
2-Day Workshop - $400.00

This two-day workshop presents topics critical to lighting healthcare facilities for attendees new to this discipline - or those wanting a quick refresher course.  The basics of lighting and designing challenging healthcare projects will be addressed. Basic applications and trends in lighting patient and treatment specific areas will be discussed, as well as physiological, sustainable considerations and design tools used in designing these spaces.  A design project will allow participants to utilize their new skills on the second day.

Controls - Controls Specialist Training
4-Day Workshop - $300.00

This four day course will cover Eaton’s Controls product offerings from our basic sensors to advanced Fifthlight systems. Participants in the course will receive a comprehensive overview of Greengate, Integrated Solutions, iLumin, and Fifthlight brands as well as an understanding of their application. The third and fourth day is composed of a workshop style group exercise where students will learn how to perform a take-off, build a bill of material, and complete a quote and submittal for each product family.

Day 1 & 2 -  Fundamentals of Lighting Controls:  Participants will receive a comprehensive overview of Greengate, Integrated Solutions, iLumin, and Fifthlight product families as well as an understanding of their application.

Day 3 & 4 - Lighting Controls Application Workshop:   A hands-on workshop focusing on how to apply Eaton’s controls solutions to projects, focusing on performing take-offs, determining bills of material and using available tools to quote and provide submittals for projects. Wiring and installation details and overall functionality will also be highlighted within the discussed applications.

 

Who should attend: Controls Specialists who want an overview of Eaton’s controls solutions, and who will be performing take-offs, quotation and submittal services.

Prerequisites: eLearning modules to complete prior to attendance will be assigned after registration is finalized.

LEDs, Controls, New Technologies and Retrofits for Energy Efficient Solutions
3-Day Workshop - $525.00

This three day workshop class will focus on the latest energy saving strategies through lighting and control strategies for industrial, commercial, warehousing, and exterior environments.  Participants will gain an understanding of the advantages of the latest in lighting and control technologies including multiple benefits that LED technology offers. Multiple applications will be discussed by allowing the participant to gain knowledge on how to identify and recommend energy saving lighting systems. Both new installations and retrofits will be discussed based on budget, energy consumption and installed costs. Lighting legislation, including EPACT, LEED, ASHRAE 90.1, IECC, will be discussed as well as how to identify and utilize rebate programs that help to speed adoption of these products into the different spaces where energy savings are needed and required.

LED Exterior Lighting Solutions
2-Day Seminar - $400.00

LEDs are have changed the way we illuminate the nighttime environment. This two-day course will cover LEDs in detail as a source to consider for exterior applications based on their long life, extended maintenance cycle, and lower energy consumption. Participants will study exterior lighting design and principles for nighttime applications such as roadway, parking lots, area and site lighting and sports lighting and evaluate the operating characteristics of fixtures designed for specific and exterior applications. Exterior lighting legislation such as Model Lighting Ordinance, BUG Rating, and testing methodologies (LM79, LM80 and TM21) will be covered. This course is ideal for those involved in the design/specification or the energy management of exterior spaces, and for those looking to gain a better understanding of what to use in their unique applications.
